Pastor Rodgers was born on April 1, 1969 to Mr. Leon Rodgers and Mrs. Clarestine Rodgers. He is the oldest of four children one of which is his twin brother Lashawn Rodgers. He has two sisters Catrecia Lathan and Cristal Spellman. Pastor Rodgers graduated from Indian River High School in June of 1987. In November of 1989 Pastor Rodgers entered into the United States Marine Corps where he served for 6 years. On December 30, 1989 He married Tasha Gilliam Rodgers and they will be celebrating 19 years of marriage on December 30, 2008. Together they are the proud parents of Little Miss Gabrielle Denise Rodgers.
On Palm Sunday March 23, 1997 Pastor Rodgers preached his initial sermon and was licensed to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ by Dr. Ronnie D. Joyner. He has attended the Evans Smith Bible Institute and is currently a student at Norfolk State University pursuing a degree in psychology. In the year 2000 Pastor Rodgers began to serve under the direction of his spiritual Father Dr. Kim Walter Brown the Pastor of Mount Lebanon Missionary Baptist Church in Chesapeake Virginia. Pastor Rodgers worked with the youth ministry, was a worship leader, preached the gospel and attended Ministers training under the tutelage of Virginia Union School of Theology graduate Karl West from 2000 to 2006. In March of 2006 Pastor Rodgers was ordained by Dr. K.W. Brown. On April 9, 2006 Rev. Terron M. Rodgers was called to Pastor Ebenezer Baptist Church. Since April 9, 2006 under Pastor Rodgers leadership Ebenezer Baptist Church has grown from 243 members to at present 600 members. His desire is to be faithful to God and serve Gods people in the spirit of excellence.
